Review: A Clash of Kings

Image
A Clash of Kings by George R.R. Martin My rating: 3 of 5 stars Being the sequel to A Game of Thrones ,this follows the story line laid out in the first book. The book may not appeal greatly to a reader who has already seen the TV series, but is does give a lot more details to story and also to the characters. A lot of details are revealed about the story line of Dany's time through the Red-Waste. The visions of her brother Rhaegar and Lyana she sees in the tower of undying shows the birth of Jon Snow and reveals his real name to be Aegon Targaryen. The conversations between Halfhand and Jon is also interesting and it adds characters like Stonesnake and Ebben. Even though this is not outstanding it does make its readers to grab the next book.
